Mukhuthar Naseer playing for Valencia, He has signed a two year deal with New Radiant.

Male’, MALDIVES – Veteran striker Mukhuthar Naseer (2Kilo) has signed a two year deal with his former club, New Radiant. Mukhuthar Naseer has played for Valencia and Maziya last year.

Mukhuthar told to New Radiant website after the signing that he is delighted to join the champions and a club he loves.

“Since I am approaching the final years of my career so I wanted to finish with a club I love" 2 Kilo said.

Mukhuthar also said that he hears good things about New Radiant and it helped him to re join the club.

“Considering the situation of all local clubs, it is New Radiant that is running with a good professional management. That's the main reason I agreed to join the club. I had great ambition when joining Valencia last season, but it didn't work well. But this time I have faith in this club"

Mukhuthar Naseer, who scored the winning goal against India in the 2008 SAFF Championship, was Maldives best player of 2008.

New Radiant has also said that players such as Mohamed Umair and Ali Fasir has signed a two year extension to their agreement while Akram, Rilwan Waheed, Sifan (Kudattey) and Ismail Easa are already under contract for next season.
