Umair renews contract

Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant’s striker Mohamed Umair has renewed his contract with New Radiant to another two years.

In an interview given to New Radiant website Umair said that he had a great season with the Blues last season and he is happy with the club.

“I had a great season with New Radiant. Chairman Ali Waheed (Balak) and the management have been extremely good and the supporters have been very supportive” Umair said.

Umair has also showed his happiness on their newly appointed coach.

“He is coming with lot of experience and knowledge of the game and I am sure it will be a great opportunity for all the players to work with such a coach. I can’t wait to start working with him”

Umair has scored incredible 30 goals last season for the club and the national team.

New Radiant also said that Mohamed Sifan (Kudattey), Rilwan Waheed, Akram Abdul Ghanee and Ismail Easa are initially signed until the end of 2014 season.
