Male’, MALDIVES – Myanmar national team coach Avramovic has said that his team needs to improve the spirit of the team if they want to win their next game.

Speaking at the post match press conference Avramovic said there are some players who are angry with other players.

“I need to improve the spirit of the team work and today you can see that some players were angry on others and that affects on us today.”

“In the first game we played as a team and scored goals but I think today some of them thinks that they can do what they want and that was wrong.”

He also said that he is not happy with the result of this game and they cost the match because of defensive mistakes.

“That was not a good game but I don’t think that we played well and also Palestine played well. But Palestine has more experienced players and scored two goals from defensive mistakes.”

“I think there will be difficulties if we were missing players but the strength of a team is not based on individual effort.”

“Every game is three points and we will try to get three points in the next game.”

Meanwhile Palestine coach Jamal Mahmoud said that it was a hard match and the players did what he asked them to do.

“It was a hard match and I know that who ever wins this match they will have a good chance to qualify for the semi final and I told all the players that we must work hard on the field.”

“We got several chances to score but we managed to score two goals and won the game. Still we need to improve the mistakes from the last two games.”

Jamal also thanked the supporters in the stadium.

“We would like to thank all the supporters from the Maldives and we wish Maldives to qualify for the semi final.”

When asked about the possibility of using reserve players in the next game he said he hasn’t decide that.

“Even today we had some players on the bench and we will select the team based on the opponent team and we will start to prepare the game against Maldives. At the moment we don’t know who will play against Maldives.”

“All the players are important for us and number 7 is also a player from the group and he is not so important without the group even if he scored a goal.”
