We can play better says Rahim

Hithadhoo, MALDIVES – Turkmenistan coach Rahim Kurbanmamedov said that his team can play better and they will analyze today’s game and think about that.

Speaking at the post match press conference Kurbanmamedov said it is always disappointing when you concede an early goal.

“It is always disappointing when you concede a goal and I am not satisfied with the performance of the team"

“The team can play better and we will think about it and discuss later when we analyse the game.”

“The result is very important as the first game is always difficult,” said Kurbanmamedov, who now prepare his side to face SAFF champions Afghanistan on Thursday.

On the other hand Laos coach Norio Tsukitate said that his team was not that bad and still there is room for improvement.

“We were not bad, but we could do more. But in the second half showed we don’t have a lot of experience. We need to be more positive in attack and we need more training and tournaments,” said Laos coach Norio Tsukitate.

“We need to learn to control psychologically after making mistakes. After making a mistake our performance and play was negative, that needs to improve.”

Laos will play against Philippines on Thursday.
