Male’, MALDIVES – Kyrgyzstan coach Dvoryankov Sergey has said that he is satisfied with the performance and fitness level of his players but not with the result.

Speaking at the post match press conference Sergey said that during the game they realized that who would score the first goal will win the game.

“It was a game between two equal teams and obviously during the game we realized that the who would score the first goal would win the game. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to equalize.”

“Obviously the weather is a problem for both teams but as a head coach I am satisfied with the movement and the fitness level of our players but not with the results.”

He also said that their plan was to win the game and they didn’t settle for a draw.

“Before the game the plan was to win the game and get three points and that was the most important thing. During the game we didn’t change our plans and the target still remains to win the game. We didn’t settle for a draw.”

“Either teams had enough clear cut chances and that’s why it was a difficult game for both games.”

When asked about the possibility of advancing the second round of the tournament after the loss against Palestine he said still they have the chance.

“I don’t think that it will have too much effect of the result of this game towards the end of the group stage. We have still two more games and I think it’s too early to take a vital decision regarding going through the group stages.”

“We have been always playing attacking formation and even after loosing this game we will chose attacking formation more in the coming two games.”

Kyrgyzstan lost the match to Palestine by 1-0. The goal was scored by Abdulhamid Abuhabib in the extra minutes of the game.
