TC moves to second

Male’, MALDIVES – TC Sports club moved to the second position of the league after beating Mahibadhoo by 3-0 tonight in the ongoing Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

TC Sports opened the scoring in the sixth minute from a descent header from Ali Nafiu inside the box from a timely cross from Farrah from the left flank.

In the 13th minute, Naiz Hassan doubled the lead from a superb header inside the box while he was unmarked inside the box.

In the half hour mark Rizuwan made another good shot inside the box but went over the bar.

Two minutes after the break Nafiu’s header was missed and Rafael made a good shot from it but was blocked for a corner kick.

Ahmed Rilwan of TC Sports changed the score to 3- 0 in the hour mark from a lose ball from Mahibadhoo keeper from a free kick from Zaad.

In the 71st minute, Rafael supplied a good ball into the box but Nafiu failed to make a shot from it.

A minute later Naiz beat the keeper and made a good shot but Samaam cleared the ball before it cross the line.

TC Sports managed to get 11 points from six games while league leaders New Radiant got 13 points from five games.

Club Valencia will play against BG Sports on Tuesday at 2200 hours.
