Excellent come back and three vital points. Adubarey showed his maturity and leadership in the final moments. His experience earned them a penalty and I was thinking was he going to try another hilarious penalty that he scored in AFC Challenge Cup but he was wiser for it. There was no comedy involved in it, it was sent almost straight down the middle. They could easily have extended their lead with couple of more goals had hampu and beyrumeeha not spurned the chances they got in the dying minutes. Anyway this was an important win that will boost the confidence of demoralised players and keep players in good form when the new coach join the team. Good luck.

It's amazing to see just how good our teams are when they keep the ball on the floor and try to play football. Yesterday during the first half, Maziya were terrible due to Suzain's favourite long-ball, ugly style of play. In the second half, they came out and dominated the play by nice passages of passing moves and dynamic movement of players in the final third of the pitch. New Radiant were the same today. They simply could not get going until about the 70th minute when they made some changes and decided to pass the ball around. In the first half, they looked like they still hadn't got over Mika Lonnstrom's decadant style of play, where their fullbacks would keep launching long, pointless balls into the opponent's half and hope for the best. Maldivian players are a lot better technically than that and their talent gets wasted by long ball tactics. Most of them also do not have the height to play that game. It's good to see the coaches wising up to this and playing to the players strengths i.e. keeping the ball and controlling possession. Great to see both clubs winning in the same week, long may it continue.
