This is easily the worst result in recent Maldivian football to lose 3-0 to India. Although going forward we were good, we didn't show conviction in keeping the ball in possession. The worst was as in the previous comment the defence. There was no urgency in preparing to defend Indian set pieces and marking. At the same time, our set pieces were not worked out well, lacked quality and didn't threaten the Indian goal. No real shots on target either. We need to put all these right to progress. We're still behind you and hope for a much much better performance.

why do ppl always blame the coach. wat can he do wen players who are mostly smokers dont have enough stamina to play 90 minutes of football. they cant play up and down. hes left with the only option of making them play how they can play. why cant we discipline the sport? ban smokers from national team? alas FAM does not have courage to take brave decisions. most maldivians understand this so now the stadium is almost vacant even during cup finals. we know the problem but dont have the courage to solve it.
