Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant Sports Clubs, winger Ibrahim Fazeel (Oppo) has been ruled out of National Squad for the upcoming Nehru Cup because of injury. Speaking to maldivesoccer.com, National team’s sports physician Ahmed Shakeeb said that Oppo is suffering from a muscle injury.

“Oppo has been suffering from a muscle injury. It will take at least a week for him to practice with the team”.

“I can assure you that Oppo will not play in the Nehru Cup”.

Speaking to Maldivesoccer.com Oppo said that he has played few games even though he was injured.

“I have played some games even though I’ve been having this muscle pain, but I guess that’s the reason I still haven’t recovered from it”.

“Shakeeb has advised me not to play until I am fully recovered from the injury”.

Adam Naseer of VB Addu FC has also been ruled out of the five nation tournament. National team manager Amir confirmed to maldivesoccer.com last night regarding Mukhthaar Naseer (Twokilo)’s retirement from International football.
