India announce squad for Tajikistan friendly

Male', MALDIVES - Defending SAFF champions India has announced a 20 player squad for the friendly match against Tajikistan as part of their preparations for the upcoming SAFF championship.

The friendly match against Tajikistan is set to play on 14th August at Khujand. Indian team will leave Delhi on 9th August and will return on 16th August.

After returning from Tajikistan, India team will camp for SAFF championship in Bengaluru. Reports say another set of players will be joining the team while in Bengaluru.

Following is the 20 member squad for Tajikistan friendly

Goalkeepers: Karanjit Singh, Sandip Nandy, Subhasish Roychowdhury.

Defenders: Denzil Franco, Nirmal Chettri, Arnab Mondal, Gouramangi Moirangthem, Raju Gaikwad, Gurjinder Kumar.

Midfielders: Mehtab Hossain, Lalrindika Ralte, Arata Izumi, Lenny Rodriguez, Jewel Raja Shaikh.

Forwards: Francis Fernandes, Shylo Malsawmtluanga, Clifford Miranda, Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Dawson Fernandes.
