Maziya will not underestimate teams says Imma

Male, MALDIVES – Head Coach of Maziya Sports and Recreation, Ismail Mahfooz (Imma) says that his side wont underestimate All Youth Linkage (AYL) when they face them in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi League. Maziya will face AYL today at 1550hrs.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference held at FAM House, Imma said that his side will work for a win against AYL.

“We don’t underestimate any team. Not even AYL or anyone”.

“We have the full respect for them as the opponent, but we will go for a win against them”.

Maziya is placed on the second position of the league, while AYL is on the bottom of table in the third round. Imma said that his side has been motivated with their performance lately.

“Our boys are in good form and I am sure we can maintain it”.

Imma also noted that his caption Ali Niyaz (Ayya) has been suffering from an injury.

“Doctor has advised him that he will need at least two or so weeks for recovery”.

No official from AYL was present for the pre-match press conference.
