New Radiant coach Velizar Popov said that he respect the opponents in the quarter finals of AFC Cup.

MAle', MALDIVES - New Radiant coach, Popov has said that he is happy and it’s an honor to play against the most successful club in AFC cup. He further said that he respect them (Kuwait SC) but he is not afraid to play against them.

“New radiant like a club and for me like a coach, it’s a great honor to play against the most successful club in AFC cup, defending champions” coach said expressing his feelings to play against Kuwait SC.

“This is a fantastic challenge for us, but if you want to beat good team, you need to play and try to win against best teams”

“I respect them but I am not afraid I fear only god”

“Even if they are the favorite in AFC cup, we have one very dangerous weapon. If Kuwait lose this would be the biggest shame in Kuwait football history. If we lose this will be something normal. If we win this will be the biggest surprise maybe in AFC cup history. “

“I am happy with this draw. Because for me it’s very important to see where we are. And this I can see only if we play against the best team. So for me the draw is super. We will try to make all our Maldivian fans proud of us”

New Radiant chairman, Ali Waheed (Balak) also said that the team and the management are happy with the draw and it is a pleasure for them to play against Kuwait SC. The most successful club in AFC cup history and the one of the favorite’s of this years AF Cup.

“We are very happy that we have to face Kuwait SC. Our target was second round of AFC Cup. But we advanced to the quarterfinal”

Helolo mr suport Dont know who you r or whom u support . Be practical in football even the mighty might fall hard or or the other way around .
