Stefanowski delighted with the win

Kathmandu, NEPAL - Nepal coach Jack Stefanowski was delighted with the win against India after 20 years. Speaking in the post-match press conference he said that he had confidence that his boys cane beat India.

“We know we can beat India, We have a very good chance of winning the game”

He also expressed his happiness for the supporters for their support.

“Always great to play at home, it was a fantastic experience. Thanks for the fans”

He also said that he will study Maldives and Afghanistan game for the preparation for the semifinal.

“We will look Maldives and Afghanistan match and we will prepare”

Meanwhile Indian coach Wim Koevermans said that he knew it will be a tough game.

“We knew that it will be a tough game, They are very skillful team”

Talking about his tactics, he said “What we want to do was press them. It didn’t work. It was difficult to supply balls to strikers”

“Second half we played in their half. We played long balls but it was easy for Nepal to defend.”
