Kathmandu, NEPAL – Maldives coach Istvan Urbanyi has said that his target is to get three points and not scoring more goals. Speaking to the media just after the final practice ahead of the match against Bhutan, Urbanyi has said that 10 goals against Sri Lanka is past and they are not expecting to score more goals.

“We had a great result in the first game and everybody is talking about records and historical result but we can have three points and that is our target.”

“I have full respect for Bhutan and that’s what I have asked from the players as well. It’s going to be a difficult game until we are not taking the advantage we have. We have skills, we have knowledge and experience so, and we are the better team. There is not question about it. We have to prove that on the field.”

When asked about Bhutan is a lower team than Sri Lanka and Maldives would be looking to score more goals, Urbanyi said that his main target is to win the match.

“No, I told you that result is not my target. Result is what will happen if we do what we have to do. But it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to win. I want to win every single match. But I want to win every single situation on the field. And if we do that we will win it.”

“Bhutan played a very good game against Afghanistan and it won’t be an easy game and I have told this to the players. The first goal was a lucky one for Afghanistan and Bhutan missed a penalty.”

“No, I don’t think so. The players has concentration and I have told about it and they all know its history.”

“Supporters will do their job and we will do our job. Even if we score 10 goals against Sri Lanka we did lots of mistakes and we have to fix those things."

Coach also said that there would be changes in the starting line up but not too many changes.

Probable line up: Imran Mohamed, Ahmed Shafiu, Akram Abdul GHani, Mohamed Shifan, Mohamed Rasheed, Mohamed Arif, Ismail Easa, Ali Fasir, Ali Ashfaq, Ahmed Imaz, Mohamed Umar.
