India likely to host SAFF 2015

Kathmandu, NEPAL - Maldivesoccer had learnt that the next edition of the SAFF championship is likely to be held in India.

Though SAFF had not revealed yet, the agreement between the official marketing group of SAFF, World Sports Group (WSG) and SAFF says that India should host every alternate championship as the most sponsors are from India.

However, final decision will be taken in the SAFF executive committee meeting which will be held on 10th September.

Maldives and SriLanka jointly hosted the SAFF championship on 2008, In which, Maldives won their maiden SAFF championship.
