Male’, MALDIVES – Victory Sports Club’s chairperson Eva Abdulla has followed the same path as their coach Ali Suzain to submit her resignation from the post of the Chairperson. Speaking to maldivesoccer.com, General secretary Ismail Zariyand said that he got the resignation letter from Eva Abdulla few days back.

“I got the letter from Eva few days back. Not only Eva but board member Hussain Zinan and Fayaz also submitted their resignation as well.”

He also said that he would be with the club even though every one leaves the club and he will try his best to survive the club from the turmoil.

“I will not leave the club, I will try my level best to survive the club. And I know there are many issues within the club. But I will try to solve it and let the club be like we saw it few years back."

The news of her resignation came less than 24 hours of the announcement of the resignation by their head coach, Ali Suzain. When asked about the resignation of Suzain he said that the club did not receive any letter or anything like that regarding his resignation.

“We did not receive anything regarding his resignation so I can’t comment based on that. But I also heard that from media.”

Maldivesoccer.com tried to contact chairperson Eva Abdulla regarding the matter but she is on an official visit to Canada.

Maybe POLITICIANS should be POLITICIANS.. This is just happening due to few selfish people, and we all know that.. Eva was a good person to Victory and the voting arrangements from victory went very democratically. maybe that was the whole "ISSUE".. Anyways i wish all the best to victory and Zariyandh also should do something about this rather than those sweet words.. Let football be an enjoyment.. not just another reason for debates, fights etc..

or maybe coaches should remain coaches, and maybe they should stop messing with the board's decisions.
