Maziya 1-0 AYL: Ahmmadey scored winner

Male’, MALDIVES – Ahmed Mohamed of Maziya Sports and Recreation Club scored the winner against All Youth Linkage (AYL) last night in the Dhiraagu Dhivehi League.

AYL has performed superb in the second round and even they played really well and created some good chances.

Maziya’s first attempt was made by Ahmed Rasheed and his shot inside the box went over the bar. Five minutes later, Ibrahim Shiyam made a good shot but Zubair cleared it for a corner.

In the 16th minute Abu penetrated the defense and even beat the keeper but he failed to convert it to a goal.

Maziya’s Ahmed Mohamed broke the deadlock in the 30th minute from a superb free kick.

Two minutes after the break, Abu penetrated the defense line and made a good shot but it went wide.

In the 59th minute, Abu made another stunning shot on target but Maziya’s keeper Nishah punched it away for a corner kick.

In the last minute of the game Abu penetrated the defense line and even beat the keeper and tried to shoot from a very narrow angle but keeper saved the ball.

BG Sports will play against Club Eagles tonight. The match will kick off at 2200 hours.
