Kathmandu, NEPAL - Pakistan coach Shahzah Anwar said that it was a lucky win for India in yesterday’s game where Pakistan lost to India by one goal to nil courtesy of an own goal from Pakistani defender Samar Ishaq.

“My big congratulation to India. We were unlucky today. It was a lucky win for India” Anwar said in the post-match press conference.

“We created a lot of goal scoring chances. We put pressure on them in the first half”

Though Pakistan lost, they have high hopes for the next game.

“Unfortunately we lost the game but we played well. We will continue this rhythm and win against Nepal”

He also said that if the goal was not conceded they have a high chance of winning the game and the goal came due to misunderstanding.

“If we didn’t conceded that goal we will have a good chance to win. Misunderstand between two players led to own goal
