Valencia 1-2 AYL: Solah strikes twice

Male’, MALDIVES – Hassan Solah of All Youth Linkage (AYL) scored a last minute winner to secure three points against Club Valencia in last night's encounter. AYL won the match by 2-1.

Under the guidance of Ahmed Nashid (Naadhu) AYL was performing very well from the beginning of the second round of the league. Ahmed Githurees made a good header inside the box but Valencia’s veteran skipper Assad cleared the ball from the goal line.

Thirteen minutes after the break, Shaheem Abdul Gadir dribbled inside AYL penalty area, he fell due to pressure of Zubair and keeper cleared the ball from the box.

Valencia’s Irufan broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute, Shaheem delivered a good ball to Irufan while unmarked inside the box and he made no mistake to send the ball to goal.

Four minutes before the normal time Hassan Solah scored from a thunder bolt shot inside the box and leveled the game.

In the last minute of the game Hassan Solah scored another wonder goal to secure three points for them. Valencia defenders couldn't clear the ball inside the box and Solah's shot inside the box hits far bottom corner of the goal.

League champions New Radiant Sports Club will play against BG Sports in today’s game.
