Male, MALDIVES – VB Addu FC’s Coach Can Vanli showed delightfulness over the result they made against rivals and the league leaders New Radiant Sports club in the ongoing Dhiraadu Dhivehi League last evening. VB held NRSC a goalless draw in the match where NRSC could win the league with a win.

Speaking to the press after the crucial game, Vanli said his game plan worked as he wanted. But he said it took a year to understand his system of play.

“I am really very happy because we realized one defense system today and it’s very nice”.

“I teach this system at our preparatory time, but it took a year to understand this system”.

Meanwhile NRSC’s Coach Mohamed Siyaz (Mohan) said that his side couldn’t perform what he expected.

“It is acceptable that these kinds of days will also happen in a league”.

“I don’t believe that today our boys performed up to their actual standard”.
