New Radiant's Ashfaq playing against Persibo in AFC Cup this year. They are in group E.

Male', MALDIVES - AFC Cup 2014 draw has been taken today at AFC House in Kuala Lumpur where Maldives league champions New Radiant is drawn in group E with Home United of Singapore, Persipura Jayapura of Indonesia and Churchill Brothers of India.

In group F Maziya is drawn against Henoi T and T of Vietnam, Arema of Indonesia and Selangor of Malaysia.

Group stage games will kick off on 25th February 2014.

Very, very tough groups for both teams. New Radiant will be missing key players who took them all the way to the quarter finals last season, and they also play a South Asian derby against Churchill Brothers (Sunil Chhetri and Robin Singh make up their strikeforce as well). I hope Maziya will do better this time, hopefully with one year of AFC Cup experience under their belt, they will pick up more points on their away matches.

I do not know about 2014, but now Sunil Chhetri is playing for Bengaluru FC

easy group for both team. I think New can reach Quarter easily nd Maziya also have chance to reach Round of Sixteen.
