FAM appoints new GS

Male’, MALDIVES – Hussain Shahid has been appointed as the new General Secretary of Football Association of Maldives (FAM).

Shahid is a new name to the football family but he has worked as the chairman of Badminton Association of Maldives and also he has worked at the president’s office.

President of FAM, Ilham Ahmed earlier said to maldivesoccer.com that the new GS would be a good choice and that will help to run the association at a good speed.

Former General Secretary Mohamed Hanim resigned from the post few months back and later on Mohamed Nasir took the responsibility as the Deputy General Secretary.
