Niyaz extends contract

Niyaz has extended his contract with the Blues for another two years.

Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant’s midfielder Ahmed Niyaz has extended his contract with New Radiant for another two years according to the club.

Speaking to maldivesoccer.com Niyaz said that he made the decision based on various reasons.

"New Radiant's management is very good and last season was one of the best seasons in my football career. So I want to finish my career with them and decided to extend for two more years."

Niyaz was selected for the national team for the first time in his career and played a key role in the SAFF Championship this year, which was held at Kathmandu, Nepal.

New Radiant has extended the agreements with Mohamed Umair, Ali Fasir and Ahmed Abdulla (Lily) for another two years. And Mukhuthar Naseer has also joined New Radiant, who has managed to keep a 100% winning record in the domestic tournaments last season.
