Ilham appointed as OC member of FIFA U17 WC

Male’, MALDIVES – Football Association of Maldives (FAM)’s president Ilham Ahmed has been appointed as a full member of 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup.

Speaking to maldivesoccer.com, Director of foreign relations, Mohamed Latheef said that FIFA appointed Ilham as a member of organizing committee on 1st October.

“FIFA appointed Ilham as a member of 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup on 1st October and informed us today.”

The tournament is scheduled to be held in Chile, which includes 24 teams from 6 continents.

No Disrespect... Ilham is doing a very bad job as the president of the Football Association of Maldives (FAM). Rather than managing or improving the F.A.M, he is giving his time for political activities.

Ilham's probably just realised that this means he's got to make sure that our country particpates in the tournament! Oh, no more work for him! (that is if we actually are allowed to take part!)
