President Karzai appreciates goalkeeper

Afghanistan - President Hamid Karzai appreciated Mansoor Faqiryar- the Goalkeeper of Afghanistan National Football Team and Kiramuddin Karim- the Chairman of Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) by Ghazi Mir Masjidi Khan state medals.

At the ceremony held today to this end in the Presidential Palace, President Karzai rewarded Mansoor Faqiryar and Kiramuddin Karim, who were not present at the previous ceremony recently organized at the Palace in appreciation of the Afghan football team players’ victory in the SAFF Championship.

In a decree which had already been issued, the President honored Goalkeeper Faqiryar with Mir Masjidi Khan state medal, an apartment in MoUD’s Khwaja Rawash residential project and 1100000 Afs as cash award and the Chairman of AFF with Mir Masjidi Khan state medal.
