We want Pakistan to beat the Maldives in the second friendly match and want Hassan Bashir and Shabir Khan to outshine the rest in that game. All the best to Pakistan P.S : I love your name "Abu Muawiyah"

Pakistan must now go on to win the second friendly, where Worcester City's Shabir Khan and Nordvest's Hassan Bashir will have to raise the level of their game in order to wrap up the tour of the Maldives on a winning note, which undoubtedly would be a great way to go into the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers in Kyrgyzstan. Go Pakistan!

The result shows nothing about the crushing display shown by the maldivians. 72% possession. Wow.

There is another way to put it! Based on your statistics, Pakistan with their 28% of the possession scored 1 goal and had equal shots on goal. So much for possession.

Maldives played very well! Nice passes, very cool. Impressive. But need to concentrate until the referee blows the wistle.

The play was cool? The passing was only in our half, there was no penertration and very few shots on goal. I believe on the whole the number of shots on goals was equal. The score says 1-1!

I really enjoyed the beautiful passing game by maldives. I think the link between defence and midfield was awsome. but the link between midfield and attack lacked understanding. I feel that will be solved quickly since that has been the strongest department on our side for many years. i also feel this is a great start to the season and hope that local leagues will get a boost from this. that people will take football as a means to get out of the situation the country is in right now.

regretably i enjoyed only bits and pieces of the game. Once the goal was scored it seems as if the whole team switched off. And incidentally it was a pretty dull affair until Ashfag came on and did some magic of his own. Alas he also went to sleep with the rest of the team. Hope we have a better match on the 14th

A fair result compared to how Maldives played and how Pakistan utilized their I wud say only clear chance in the match. MALDIVES can boast and boast on how good they are but how good are they really?, MALDIVES Can keep passing and passing back to your goalkeeper without any real penetration upfront until Dhagey arrived in the second half. So the big question now is how best Dhagey is best utilized by MALDIVES, how UMAIR should be utilized ( we saw him lost on the field last night) and how the team will perform under pressure( can play in your own half any way you want without the opposition pressing for the ball). SO in short it was a dull and a disappointing performance by the Maldives National Team although the COACH can say the other way round. IMRAN -- was not required on the night but ven required just stood still complaining to the referee he was blocked.(need to learn from the English Premier League on how goalkeepers move during corners. SHAAFI , KUDATTYA, AKU - played well but too much running with the ball RILWAN - Useless on the night HOCKAY - not match fit MESSI - Lost his stamina after the hour mark UMAIR - NEED to find what is his real playing position BAKA - as usual did his job SENTAY - played off beat and not match fit ASAKO - needs a good first touch as he was let down thrice by his poor first touch Lets hope the second match brings out more from the team.

with the 30% possesion and maldivians domnination of the full game, pakistan coach and players were celebrating as if they drew a match against brazil. this proves the difference between maldivian football and pakistan.

Is celebrating a right to only one team? The pakistanis have every right to celeberate. Why are you then boasting about possession statistics? is it because you had this possession playing against Brazil? Do you want to know why the pakistanis were celebrating? It was because they were heckled by the supporters behind their bench... i saw one maldivian with his face painted red and a green paper wrapped around his head, standing behind the bench, leaning on the advertisment boards and shouting "pakistan go home'.

Although i love Pakistan and want my team to win the second match, I respect Maldives as a nation and love the Maldivians since they are our Muslim brothers.
