Maldives maintains their position as the leader of South Asian region for the sixth consecutive months in the FIFA ranking.

Male', MALDIVES - Maldives maintains their position as the leader of South Asian region for the sixth consecutive months in the FIFA ranking. Maldives has been dominating the region in the rankings since August 2012.

In the ranking of February, Maldives lies on the 159th of World ranking with 130 points.

India lies on the second in the region with 98 points and 167th rank, while Bangladesh on 169th rank with 90 points.

Pakistan who got the biggest boost in this month lies on fourth in the region; they got a 19 position jump from January. Pakistan is at 170th rank with 88 points.

Nepal slopes four positions down and they are on the 174th rank with 80 points.

Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bhutan lies on the bottom of the region. Afghanistan on the 189th rank with 39 points, Sri Lanka on 193rd rank with 36 points. Bhutan lies on 207th rank with no points.
