Male’ Maldives - Pakistan National team coach Zaviša Milosavljević described the match against Maldives last night as a promising match and praised his boys for their effort throughout the game.
Maldives was stunned by a last-minute goal by Pakistan's Yaqoob Ejaz Butt, settling for a 1-1 draw in the first of two international friendly games to be played here in Male'.
Speaking at the post match press briefing, the Serbian who has been in charge of Pakistani National team since 2011, said that his side played a competitive game.
“Pakistani team played a very competitive game. We performed well and I am very satisfied about the motivation, aggression”.
Before arriving to Maldives for the two international friendly games, Pakistani team played two games against Nepal last week for their preparation for the upcoming Challenge Cup Qualifying games. Zaviša noted the effort of his side despite playing three tough games in a week.
“Now we are really very tired. Its our third game in five days”.
He also noted the superb performance of Maldives captaib Ali Ashfaq who came in the second half as a substitute player.
“Comparing both teams, we cannot see much difference except few players like captain Ashfag.”

“Apart from that the house full stadium gave us pressure. It was a big pressure for us”.
