Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant’s Ali Ashfaq broke the goal scoring record for a single season, taking his tally for the season to 42 goals in New Radiant's 7-0 win over Eagles in Dhiraagu Dhivehi league match tonight.
Ashfaq overhauled his own record of 39 goals which he set in 2009, in the extra minutes of the first half finishing off a nice move and taking his tally to 40 goals. This was the fourth time Ashfaq has renewed the goal scoring record.
