Male’, MALDIVES – Victory Sports Club’s general secretary Ismail Zariyandh has said that they are having salary issues with some players and they are trying to settle that before the FA Cup match.

Speaking to Maldivesoccer.com today, Zariyandh said that salary issues are not only with Victory and some other clubs are having the same issues.

“We are having some financial issues with players but we will fix it before the FA Cup match.”

Meanwhile, in a post on Victory’s facebook fan page it says that there are some players who are not being paid for three or four months but they performed very well in the Dhivehi League Qualifier to keep them in the top flight.

“The players did their best and kept the club in Division 1 and still the management is treating the players like s***. It seems now the players have told the management that they will not play the next match until they are being paid"

Regarding the matter, Zariyandh said that the club didn’t get any comment about it and the facebook page is not related to the club.

“The facebook page is not related to us and it was under the control of some supporters.”

Victory won the Dhivehi League Qualifier against VB Addu FC by 3-2 to secure a place in the top flight.

I just want to say you a man of no trust. last year also you said you will settle the salary to all players and will focus on next season. but at the end you could not give salaries and could not afford to sign quality good players as most of players are willing to play for lower salaries than other team have offered. #ZariyandFail

Zariyand is full of bull talk. Nobody in thr squad trust you or respect you. We all think that you are the most self obsessed man around. So suzain and them didnt do a good thing, but atleast he has done more for victory than you have ever done. If not for paris sons and soba, victory will playing second division next year.

Zariyandh needs to go away from victory and FOOOTBALL. He doesn't know how to run a club even. and he can never do it. no player will trust a guy like that. all he can do is sit near a mic and talk. what did he do this year? nothing. didnt even see him in the stadium to support VIC. if it weren't for a few peoples hard work vic would have vanished this year. and now that they are survived, his big mouth opens. what a ******. CONGRA Victory. Hope you will be stronger next year.
