Pakistan announced squad for Maldives friendly

Pakistan Football Federation reveals the squad for Maldives friendly. Squad of 18 players and 4 officials are listed for the friendly.

The squad consists of 2 goal keepers, 8 defenders, 3 midfielder and 5 strikers. Out of the 18 players, 6 players are playing for foreign based leagues.

The 6 players joined from foreign leagues are; Yousuf Butt (BGA FC/DEN), Yaqoob Butt (Skovshoved IF/DEN), Mohammad Ali (BK Avarta/DEN), Hassan Bashir (Nordvest/DEN), Amjad Iqbal (Bradford Park Avenue FC/ENG) and Shabir Khan (Halesowen Town FC/ENG).

Pakistan team is set to play 2 friendlies against Nepal before arriving to Maldives. Pakistan won the first friendly played today by 1-0.

Pakistan will play 2 friendlies against Maldives on 12th and 14th Feb .

Squad: Goalkeepers: Jaffar Khan (captain), Yousuf Butt, Saqib Hanif.

Defenders: Samar Ishaq (vice-captain), Naveed Ahmed, Kamran Khan, Muhammad Ahmed, Muhammad Hameed, Shabbir Khan, Yaqoob Ejaz Butt.

Midfielders: Faisal Iqbal, Muhammad Adil, Yasir Afridi.

Strikers: Kaleem Ullah, Muhammad Mujahid, Hassan Bashir, Saeed Ahmed, Muhammad Ali.

Officials: Milosavljevic Zavisa (head coach/manager), Shehzad Anwar (assistant coach), Muhammad Aslam Khan (goalkeeper coach), Kamran Mehdi (physiotherapist/assistant manager).
