A brilliant result! Congratulation to the whole team and coaching staff! With good result in the next match could result in a qualification to the tournament, which would be an amazing good achievement to the current squad and Dhivehi football. UAE are probably the best team in terms of experience and history, so it'll b the toughest challenge for our youths. All the best!

Fantastic, well done young Snappers! I was expecting the worst, but it's wonderful to see a solid performance from a Maldivian side. We have always had defensive problems in every level of our football, hopefully these results mean we'll see an improvement in the future of our senior national team. We can already see the difference in quality of our U-19s since the interschool football tournament resumed again last year. Good luck for the next match against UAE, which is also going to be the toughest. Onwards and upwards!
