Male’, MALDIVES - New Radiant coach Veliza Popov has said that he wants his players to remain positive a head of their meeting with Kuwai Sports Club. New Radiant lost the first leg by 7-2 in Male last week.

Popov said that things to be even tougher for his side in the second leg match at the Kuwait SC Stadium.

“Our chances are not very good against an organised team like Kuwait SC who are playing at home and in front of their fans in addition to enjoying a big advantage from their victory in the first leg at our stadium,” Popov said.

“However, we still hope that we can give a good performance and the good thing about football is that it is unpredictable and no one knows the result.

“Therefore, we will give our best tomorrow and hopefully we can get a positive result.”

Mohamed Umair will not play in this match, who was sent off in stoppage time in the first leg.

The match will kick off at 2215 hours in Maldives time.
