Maziya 6-1 AYL: Maziya into the final

Male’, MALDIVES – Defending champions Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has booked a place in the final of B52 FA Cup tonight after beating All Youth Linkage (AYL) by 6-1.

Maziya started the match very well and created some good chances. In the third minute Mukhuthar's cross from the right edge of the six-yard box went inches away from the post but Borisov and Asadulla couldn't reach the ball.

Maziya broke the deadlock in the 11th minute from a superb shot by Borisov from a ball supplied by Asadhulla from the right flank.

Eight minutes later, Mohamed Rasheed's cross from the left flank straight to keeper's hand, Borisov attempted but he couldn't touch the ball.

In the 24th minute, Hassan Solah scored a goal and leveled the game from a wonderful shot inside the box.

Maziya made some changes during the half time and they introduced Ahmed Mohamed.

In the 50th minute, Ahmed Mohamed scored a superb goal from a header and took the lead for the second time.

In the 70th minute, Nashid’s header from the edge of the six-yard box hits the top corner of the goal and increased the lead.

A minute later, Shafiu scored a wonder goal from a corner kick to change the score to 4-1.

In the 72nd minute, Asadhulla managed to put his name on the score sheet from a superb shot inside the box.

Asadhulla scored their sixth goal in the last minute of the game from a superb header from a cross taken by Ahmed Rasheed.

In the second semi final of B52 FA Cup New Radiant will play against Club Eagles tomorrow night.

Well said! I wish the other clubs would take Maziya and New Radiant as an example. Why are they the top 2 teams in the Dhivehi League? Because they are the best-run clubs. Simple as that.
