Get all these nonsense political protesters to realise that our football is more important for our youths, community cohesion and health. Get people to protest and write to FAM and I think it's a good idea to gather all football personalities (old and new) to get involved and change things around!

footballmad; well thats not a bad idea either. But personally i do not like protests (of any kind), in this case also i like to find some other way. I do not have any "connections" neither to FAM nor to a politican, so my personal oppinion will not be of great value to them. But what i was thinking is that why not "we" stand up and have a meeting with FAM. I mean i have seen enough people, who are concerned about FAM's decision, expressing their view here in MS.

I would love it if FAM changed their decision, but unfortunately they're too preoccupied with other things to do the extra work that comes with it. Playing Iran away from home would benefit us in many ways: 1) Exposure to other big teams, as Iran have already qualified for the World Cup, others who have will be keeping a watchful eye on them, and possibly invite us to play more friendlies. 2) It would help the team to prepare for the AFC Challenge Cup, keep the fans busy, the team will gel, overall it will keep our momentum rolling for next May. I think FAM are far too short-sighted to realize such things, as Ilham is not a football-oriented person, and only applied for President of FAM to make a political statement and Suzain is just a boastful gimp who is in love with himself. We all want to see our football improve, unfortunately those in control just want us to improve without doing any additional work. To those in FAM, it's hard work that pays off, nothing else.
