Male’, MALDIVES – Football Association of Maldives has confirmed that they are getting ready to play two friendly matches against Seychelles in November this year.

“We are getting ready to play two games against Seychelles in November and everything is confirmed for those two matches.” Director of national teams Ali Suzain said.

Suzain also said that they will play another friendly match against India in March next year.

Maldives has refused to play two friendly games against Iran and India this month due to the hefty schedule of the FA Cup and President’s Cup.

This is not acceptable.. when F.A.M cancelled IRAN and INDIA friendly matches. Evan a DDL Foreign Players match will be better than this. If we want the national team to be better then we need a better football governing body in Maldives.
